The Christmas lights on Cinderella's Castle are proof that Disney Imagineers have been making much better decisions about the decoration of the castle in recent years. This is definitely one of the greatest sights around the holidays at Walt Disney World. This shot was taken with a Canon 17-40 f4 lens on a 20D, although I was leaning against a railing for this shot it is hand held. it's actually comprised of about 6 shots. 3 of the lower water portion bracketed exposure and then another 3 of the upper part with the castle also bracketed. The bracketed exposures were merged in photoshop with masks and a brush at varying opacity for a custom HDR. Then the top and bottom were merged and some additional LAB & RGB adjustments made to create the final image. Looks great in the slideshow!
